Our friends went Line dancing and loved the band. Our waiter was awesome and the food delicious. The tables were a bit close but we loved our meal. Our final night we visited the Steak house on the 21st floor. One morning we had breakfast at the Emerald. My husband had to Cobb salad and loved it. Later, dinner at Upstate Tavern was great. We had a drink at Pino, and the bartender was nice. There did seem to be a nice selection of restaurants for a variety of budgets. In the morning expect to hear “ housekeeping, housekeeping” with knocking on nearby rooms. At night lots of drunken people walk down the hall and are VERY loud. I think they should do something with the walls. Reception desk staff were friendly and checked us in very quickly. While Turning Stone does have a gambling section that is non smoking, it is small and only slots, so you usually end up in the smoking area anyway. I just find them smelly from cigarettes and a bit depressing. We thought Turning Stone was just ok but, to be fair, we are not really into casinos.
